Ulyanovsk Engine Plant was established in 1941 and is now a leading Russian machine-building company specialising in the production of engines for GAZelle and UAZ vehicles, Veterok medium-power outboard motors, and multi-fuel generators.

Vehicle engines from Ulyanovsk Engine Plant are characterised by a high level of reliability and economy. They are fitted with anti-toxic systems, they display impressive levels of output and are simple and convenient to operate.

Ulyanovsk Engine Plant’s manufacturing complex comprises 11 production units and 7 auxiliary production facilities.

The company’s aim is to continue developing and modernising its engines from a technical point of view, meeting international standards with regard to environmental safety, developing new types of product and expanding its product range. An integrated process optimisation system has recently been implemented which has helped to increase working efficiency and improve product quality indicators. Plans are in place for considerable investments in engine development at the plant.
